There's lots of Asian restaurants on Monroe, but I'm pretty sure this is the only one that serves sushi! There's a good amount of seating inside and the owners are so kind! There's a really large menu with tons of variety and the pricing for all the dishes are really reasonable.
We got the chicken katsu, shogun deluxe bowl, and the spicy tuna roll. If you pay in cash, you can get some free gyoza or sesame balls so we got the gyoza. The gyoza was nice and crispy! It wasn't anything too special, but still enjoyable. The serving sizes for both dishes were really big and after I got full I had enough food left for lunch the next day! The chicken katsu pieces are small and crispy! The shogun deluxe bowl came with lots of variety and was really good! I've had sushi in lots of different places and the spicy tuna roll was one of the best I've ever had! -

Honestly this place has cheap ramen so dont be surprised when you come back and get similar results: cheap ramen. Thats all I can. Honestly i super feel like this is marked up top ramen.

Okay sushi for an okay price. Would go back if I'm on a tight budget but it was a meh experience. Workers were very polite however. Pictured is the jalapeño bomb.

Have the owners ever tasted real Japanese ramen? This was a horrific, disgusting experience. My husband ordered the spicy ramen and I ordered the "fresh ramen." Why name it "fresh" when it tasted like a watered down packet of top ramen flavoring that had been open and sitting out for weeks?
I am a ramen lover and couldn't stomach more than two bites. Also, the picture on the menu showed beef. There was no beef, but there were a few soggy, bloated pieces of mystery slop floating on top. It looked like soggy bread.
My husband's "spicy ramen" tasted and looked like soggy instant ramen that had some Sriracha added. The sparse veggies that were in it were soggy and stale as well.
Needless to say, this was VERY disappointing, and we will never be back. It couldn't even claim mediocre, it was repulsive.
Spare yourself, it wasn't worth the gas, price, gagging, or disappointment. -

Great prices, great food, and a great family atmosphere. The spicy ramen here IS spicy and a great bang for your buck. The teriyaki bento box is an all in one meal if you can't decide what to eat. The flavors are extraordinary, and the location is prime. Will eat here every weekend!
